AAC deeply mourns
the loss of founding Board Member, Elizabeth Birt, who tragically
lost her life in an auto accident in Aspen, Colorado on
December 28, 2005.
Liz was a devoted
mother, a tireless advocate for children and a cherished friend. It is in her honor
that we commit ourselves to fulfilling the mission of AAC that
she boldly envisioned. Her spirit and passion will live on
in our work.She will be missed
beyond measure.
